I must say, as a blogger, that having so many amazing creators coming out with background drops is a godsend. It’s one less thing to worry about now and just focus on the outfit you put together. That said most background scenes are in gachas and are no modify which is why it’s so great to see Auryn Beorn of Black Tulip release hers as a standalone at this months Liaison Collaborative. Not only is it modify but it comes with a set of shadow maps and guides to help. Genre‘s current round is all about Belle Epoque. For those that don’t know Belle Epoque (also called The Beautiful Era) is a period of time between 1871 to 1941 in France. It is during the same time that the Moulin Rouge took off however one of Genre’s next themes will be Burlesque just in case you’re wondering why you don’t see any cabaret inspired items at the event. Since I’m going back in time for this post I really wanted to share two podcasts I’ve been binge-listening to pretty much every single day. Stuff You Missed In History Class and Stuff You Should Know are amazing and the hosts of each are so well-informed and hilarious that they really do make learning fun. Ms. Auryn Beorn of Black Tulip just released this beautiful circle necklace at this month’s The Liaison Collaborative. For just 75L (only for the duration of the event) you get both silver and gold versions along with a free pose that helps show off your newest bling. My only bit of advice is that if you’re gonna wear it while walking around the grid to attach it to your chest and edit it into position. The default attachment point is the neck so it moves around quite a bit when you’re not standing still.
**Update: Auryn has sent out a new fixed version that does attach to the chest.**
