I seem to always be a day late and dollar short on SL. I’ve finally had time for Miss Berry’s newest Monday Meme today while waiting for my car at the mechanics and decided to do a bit of sightseeing. I love going through the Destination Guide and finding new lands to pop into. Today I headed over to Blackwall. A dystopian sim with a heavy supernatural theme. I was very surprised with how incredibly detailed everything was from the shops in the town center to even the underground tunnels where the wolves like to hang out. And my biggest tip to any blogger tp’ing around RP sims is, well first always wear an observer tag and second ask around where someone’s favorite place on the land is. It’s kinda like taking a trip to a different country like Paris or England. Yea you could do all the touristy stuff and check out The Louvre or Big Ben but wouldn’t you rather see where the locals actually go? Ok now on to the meme! And style credits below.

I’m so excited Miss Berry has used my idea for her newest blogger challenge! The goal is to compare and/or recreate your first blog photo (or flickr photo if you don’t have a blog) to your most newest. Also answer how you think you have improved as a photographer/blogger. Here is the link to my first post ever. The original idea behind creating my blog was to show off items I got from hunts ergo Hunting With Trixie. I realized pretty early on that I didn’t like a lot of the hunt prizes lol so instead just blogged about what I thought was pretty. My first post coincided with one of the first rounds of Collabor88 (C88 started in Aug ’11, my first post was Oct ’11.)
Obviously I knew nothing (NOTHING!) of graphics, antialiasing, or windlights. And I didn’t for monthes and monthes… and monthes. I was regularly in photoshop blurring off those horrible jagged lines.
For my recreated photo I went again with my lingerie and awkward laying pose. Although I still have a lot to learn I am definitely happy that my photo taking skills have gotten better. I even just got 3rd place is a photo contest for NanTra! I wanted to say a big thank you to Ms. Singh for picking the idea and thank you to all who have participated! I can’t wait to see everyone’s photos on Flickr!

Just a couple new releases for ya’ll today! We ❤ Roleplay started a few days ago where you can now buy this beautiful dress by Luminary. Inara comes in green (pictured), black, blue, cream, red, and a gold rigged chain belt.
