I’m so excited Miss Berry has used my idea for her newest blogger challenge! The goal is to compare and/or recreate your first blog photo (or flickr photo if you don’t have a blog) to your most newest. Also answer how you think you have improved as a photographer/blogger. Here is the link to my first post ever. The original idea behind creating my blog was to show off items I got from hunts ergo Hunting With Trixie. I realized pretty early on that I didn’t like a lot of the hunt prizes lol so instead just blogged about what I thought was pretty. My first post coincided with one of the first rounds of Collabor88 (C88 started in Aug ’11, my first post was Oct ’11.)
Obviously I knew nothing (NOTHING!) of graphics, antialiasing, or windlights. And I didn’t for monthes and monthes… and monthes. I was regularly in photoshop blurring off those horrible jagged lines.
For my recreated photo I went again with my lingerie and awkward laying pose. Although I still have a lot to learn I am definitely happy that my photo taking skills have gotten better. I even just got 3rd place is a photo contest for NanTra! I wanted to say a big thank you to Ms. Singh for picking the idea and thank you to all who have participated! I can’t wait to see everyone’s photos on Flickr!
